We host great parties for senior citizens, toddlers, and everyone in-between. Great for birthday parties and reunions where you want to bring every generation together to have fun!

All parties at Playland-Not-at-the-Beach include the following:

3 hours! You have three hours to enjoy and play
30+ Pinball Machines set on FREE Play in our 4 arcades
FREE Carnival games where guests can win prizes
Antique Penny Arcade games set on FREE Play
FREE access to Historic Artifacts and Exhibits from Whitney's Playland and the Sutro Baths
Access to your Party Room for the entire 3 hours where your guests can socialize and eat
Customized Treasure Hunt where guests find clues and win prizes
FREE use of refrigerator, freezer, microwave, and ice maker
A Playland Party Host to help your party run smoothly
Provide your own food, beverages, decorations, place setting, goodie bags, and party supplies

Party Pricing is based on the number of party goers who attend the party and the party package you choose:

$15 for each of the first 20 people and $10 for each additional person
Playland charges for everyone attending the party including the guest(s) of honor, host(s), and all guests ages 3 and up

"The Fun House Party"

$150.00 (includes up to 10 guests)

Our smallest party includes all the features listed above and is available Saturday or Sunday during the day. $15 for each of the first 20 people and $10 for each additional person.

"The Laughing Sal Party"

$300.00 (includes up to 20 guests)

Our "Laughing Sal Party" includes everything listed in the "Fun House Party" plus:

Customized paper party invitations or thank you cards
A 30-minute live performance (normally a magic show)

This party is available any night of the week as well as Saturday or Sunday during the day. For each additional person over the first 20, just add $10.00 per person.

"Playland Exclusive Party"

$350.00 (includes up to 20 guests)

This party includes everything listed in the "Laughing Sal Party" plus partygoers will have the exclusive use of Playland-Not-at-the-Beach for 3 hours. This event can even be customized to fit the ages and interests of guests; options may include a Murder Mystery, Pinball Tournament or Event Reception. This party includes:

Exclusive access to Playland-Not-at-the-Beach
Exclusive access to all party rooms and special event set-ups.
Full access to kitchen facility (including use of stove and oven) and ability to bring alcohol (in accordance with state law).

This party is available any night of the week and some week days. For each additional person over the first 20, just add $10.00 per person.

For Longer or Later Parties

There is a $100 per hour charge for parties longer than 3 hours. There is a $100 charge for parties scheduled to end later than 10:00 PM.

Playland Extras

Playland can provide a full service party and party extras. All extra are subject to availability. Request two weeks prior to party is recommended.

Invitations and/or Thank You Cards: $1.00 each for basic design with a $20.00 minimum (must be ordered in even numbers). Special art work or photo maybe an additional cost. View Samples.
