Playland-Not-at-the-Beach has many games, machines, and pinballs. To have the ability to introduce new games and the space to store games under repair, Playland-Not-at-the-Beach occasionally needs to sell some of its current inventory.

All machines, games, and pinballs are for sale in AS IS condition. We have described current working conditions to the best of our ability, but the condition of machines in use will change over time. All in use machines are continually monitored for reliability and repair personnel maintain machines weekly. If possible, we recommend "test driving" machines before purchase — please contact us if you would like to "test drive" a machine that is not in use or is off-site. All purchases are final and subject to applicable sales taxes.

For more information or to purchase a machine please contact the Playland-Not-at-the-Beach Operations Manager, Kendra Zien at kendra@playland-not-at-the-beach.org or 510-232-4264 x30.

"Pinball is a type of arcade game in which points are scored by a player using flippers to manipulate one or more steel balls on a play field inside a glass-covered cabinet."

Currently out of order & stored on-site. Was donated to Playland-Not-at-the-Beach not in working order. Playland technicians have not been able to get the game to work due to limited time, space, and financial resources. The cause of the machine being out of order has not been identified, however; over $400 of new parts have been installed in attempts to get the machine to work properly. Includes game manual or schematic.

Currently in use. Was previously taken off the Playland-Not-at-the-Beach floor due to guests not ending the game but leaving it for long periods of time "in play" which overheats the coils (causing it to burn coils often). Otherwise in good working order and currently set on free play with five pinballs. Includes game manual or schematic.

Roll-A-Ball is a type of arcade game in which points are scored by a player rolling a ball (or a number of balls) down the play field (skee-ball and fascination are roll-a-ball games).

Currently out of order (due to loss of all balls) & stored on-site. Game in good condition (balls not included). Taken off the Playland-Not-at-the-Beach floor due to children taking balls home with them; the cost of replacement balls became prohibitive.

Vending Machine is a type of machine in which money is inserted into the machine and a prize is dispensed (gumball machines and fortune telling machines are vending machines).

Currently out of order (due to not loading vending card) & stored on-site. In good working order (limited number of vendible cards included).

Classic Carnival games are found in touring and standard carnivals where players pays the attendant directly for access to the game and then the attendant gives them a prize if they win (coin tosses and tip-a-troll are classic carnival games).

Currently stored on-site. In good working order. Never put on Playland-Not-at-the-Beach floor as running the game requires constant attention and would overwork our limited staff.
