Playland-Not-at-the-Beach welcomes volunteers every weekend, and some projects are available
on weekdays. Because we are a Museum of Fun, we need people who love to put on parties
and events for children, families and senior citizens. We also have need of people who
would like to become trained docents and conduct tours of our wonderful exhibits, games
and attractions.
Here is a partial list of currently available projects:

Gardener
Occasional gardener to care for plants, trees and flowers in our brand
new landscaped parking lot. This can be any day of the week.

Event Planner
Event Planner who can schedule events and plan parties, calling on volunteers to staff the events. This will be for a few hours one or two days a week.

Docents
Tour guides to help people understand our many unique treasures. This will
be Saturdays and sometimes on Sundays.

Administrative Help
Maintain our database of volunteers, donors and visitors. This could be on
weekdays or weekends.

Carnival Games Operator(s)
We need volunteers of all ages from 8 to 80 to help run the carnival games and to give out prizes.
This is great fun for a whole family and a terrific experience for a child to
learn about the spirit of helping the community. We are a 501(c)(3), an
volunteering at our Museum of Fun qualifies for community service for high
school graduation from many Bay Area schools.

We can use volunteers almost every weekend. It's a great way to make new friends, get
some exercise, and feel good about yourself. Bring a big smile with you to share with
others. Our volunteers are from every walk of life and every level of education. The
common denominator is we're all kids at heart.
